Project: Vista Canada
Thoughtful preparation and presentation can go a long way in helping buyers connect with what already makes a home special. In the case of this mid-century home in La Cañada Flintridge, single-level living, generous outdoor spaces, natural light, and an easy connection between indoors and out gave the property an effortless California feel from the start.
Rather than dramatically changing the property, our goal was to refine and simplify the presentation so the architecture and lifestyle could speak for themselves. The work focused on strategic cosmetic improvements, including new paint and lighting, styling, and thoughtful presentation. Small details mattered here — softening visual clutter and helping each space feel calm, approachable, and move-in ready while still retaining the character that made the home unique in the first place.
The final result was a property that photographed beautifully, showed exceptionally well in person, and quickly connected emotionally with buyers drawn to the relaxed California lifestyle the home naturally offered.
Timeline: 8 weeks

Jessica’s Perspective
Hands-on execution (and like this ← paint touch up during an Open House, the occasional urgent handyman task at inopportune times)
“I am always charmed by mid-century Southern California architecture, and this one delivered in spades. My role here was supporting a lot of small decisions — landscaping, paint, lighting, and handyman details — that helped the home feel cohesive, well cared for, and true to its original character.”
